Samsung's Micro RGB TV Wins in Two Categories
LG Signature OLED T Takes "Best of IFA" Honor
Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics set a record with a total of 43 awards at Europe's largest home appliance exhibition. Their achievements were recognized for innovation and technological excellence, further cementing their status as leading players in the European home appliance market.

원본보기 아이콘Celebrating its 101st anniversary this year, the IFA exhibition established the IFA Innovation Awards to honor product innovation and marketability on the global stage. Out of products submitted by approximately 1,800 companies participating in IFA 2025, award winners are selected based on innovation, technology, design, and market impact, with prizes given across 16 categories.
On September 5 (local time) in Berlin, Germany, Samsung Electronics received a total of 26 Innovation Awards at the International Funkausstellung (IFA) 2025, including nine Best Innovation Awards. Among video display products, six items, including The Premiere 5 Projector, Micro RGB TV, and The Moving Style, were recognized. In the categories of home entertainment, design, emerging tech, computing, and gaming, Samsung won five Best Innovation Awards and six Innovation Awards. Notably, The Premiere 5 Projector, which won the Best Innovation Award in the home entertainment category, swept three titles, also taking home the Best Technology Award and the Innovation Award in design.

By arranging micro-sized RGB LEDs at an ultra-fine scale, its RGB color backlight delivers highly detailed images. The newly introduced portable screen, The Moving Style, was also recognized for its versatility, winning awards in both the home entertainment and design categories.
Among home appliances, the all-in-one washer-dryer Bespoke AI Combo earned the Best Innovation Award, demonstrating its excellence and technological prowess. In the mobile category, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, unveiled for the first time on the eve of IFA 2025, achieved a remarkable feat by securing Best Innovation Awards in both content creation and computing & gaming categories.
LG Electronics' transparent organic light-emitting diode (OLED) TV won the top honor, the "Best of IFA." The LG Signature OLED T is the world's first wireless and transparent TV, integrating advanced TV technologies such as OLED's outstanding picture quality, a differentiated viewing experience with a transparent screen, and a wireless transmission solution for a cleaner space.
LG Electronics swept five top awards in four categories, including Best of IFA, mobility, accessibility enhancement, home appliances, and home entertainment. The company also won 11 excellence awards in four categories: home appliances, design, smart home, and home entertainment.
LG's AI mobility space solution, Spielraum, received the top award in the mobility category. The Europe-exclusive LG Comfort Kit, designed with European customers' home appliance usage in mind, won the top award in the accessibility enhancement category.
In the home appliance category, the AI Dishwasher, which detects contamination and automatically sets the washing cycle using AI technology, and the Microplastic Filter, which filters out microplastics released from synthetic fibers during laundry, both received top awards.
