Ulsan Jungbu Fire Station Volunteer Brigade to Operate 119 Safety Experience Booth at Hwangbangsan

The Ulsan Jungbu Fire Station Volunteer Fire Brigade will operate the "119 Safety Experience Booth" every Saturday from September 6 to November 29 at the Hwangbangsan Ecological Campground in Jung-gu.

This booth aims to raise awareness about safe hiking and the dangers of large-scale wildfires.

During this period, about 10 volunteer firefighters will participate and run the experience booth every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. They will provide hands-on education and conduct campaigns for barefoot hikers and citizens visiting the Hwangbangsan Ecological Campground.

The main activities include: ▲ Cardiopulmonary resuscitation experience for cardiac arrest patients ▲ How to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) ▲ How to use a fire extinguisher ▲ Wildfire prevention campaign ▲ Education on preventing mountain accidents for hikers.

A representative of the Volunteer Fire Brigade stated, "We hope that operating the 119 Safety Experience Booth will help protect precious lives in emergency situations," adding, "We will do our best to fulfill our role as guardians of local safety."
