Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwangdeok) held a communication meeting with the Hwado-eup Citizen Market Advisory Committee (Chairman Kim Yongwan, hereinafter referred to as the Committee) on the 3rd floor conference room of Hwado Nonghyup on September 4.

Approximately 70 people attended the meeting, including Mayor Joo Gwangdeok, Chairman Kim Yongwan, and committee members. The meeting included explanations of actions taken and future plans regarding a total of eight previously proposed suggestions, as well as a time for sharing local issues and Q&A, allowing residents to engage in discussion together.
Residents emphasized the need for practical policy implementation to resolve inconveniences in daily life, and conveyed the voices of the citizen market on specific issues such as improvement of transportation infrastructure, revitalization of the local economy, and enhancement of the residential environment.
The city plans to thoroughly review the suggestions proposed at this meeting and reflect them in future budget allocations and administration. In addition, Namyangju City intends to continuously gather residents' opinions through regular meetings and enhance the credibility of city administration.
Mayor Joo Gwangdeok stated, "Your valuable opinions are the cornerstone of local development," and added, "We will carefully review the matters discussed today and strive to incorporate them into our policies."
