Korea Photonics Technology Institute Named 'Top Performer' in Industry-Customized Joint Training Center Evaluation
The Korea Photonics Technology Institute announced on September 5 that it was selected as the top institution nationwide in the "2024 National Human Resources Development Consortium Industry-Customized Joint Training Center Performance Evaluation," hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
The Industry-Customized Joint Training Center project is a government-supported workforce development initiative designed to strengthen the capabilities of incumbent workers and support corporate growth by providing customized training that reflects the workforce demands of the industrial field.
The Korea Photonics Technology Institute has contributed to nurturing practical professional talent by developing and operating training programs to enhance the job competencies of employees in the photonics convergence industry, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises and mid-sized companies in overcoming technological challenges, and establishing a field-oriented education system. In particular, the institute was recognized for its achievements in offering comprehensive training across all areas of the photonics convergence industry, AI-based digital learning content, ESG response programs, and next-generation display and core photonics convergence technology training.
With this award, the Korea Photonics Technology Institute has been selected as the top institution in three out of four evaluations since 2021. The institute's specialized training capabilities in the photonics convergence industry, its operational system reflecting the needs of local industries and companies, the effectiveness of its education, and high corporate satisfaction were all highly regarded.
