Smilegate Hope Studio Operates Donation Booth at 'Game Culture Festival'
Introducing Donation Campaigns Utilizing Game IPs and More
Smilegate Hope Studio announced on September 5 that it will operate a special booth called "Hope FUNding" at the "2025 Game Culture Festival," which is being held at Hyker Ground on Cheonggyecheon-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul, until September 14.
The booth will be open for a total of five days. Hope Studio plans to introduce donation campaigns and social contribution activities utilizing its game intellectual properties (IP) such as "Lost Ark" and "Road Nine" to visitors, and share cases of addressing social issues in collaboration with influencers like Dotty and Holit.
In addition, the studio will encourage participation in the "Hope Filled with a Meal" donation campaign, which provides nutritious lunch boxes to underprivileged children and teenagers. This campaign runs on the online Hope Studio donation platform until October 12. Participants in the donation campaign will have a chance to receive "Lost Ark" merchandise, such as desk pads and keyrings, through a drawing. All donations will be delivered to World Vision, an international relief and development NGO, and will be fully used to support 5,000 children suffering from food insecurity.
Kwon Yeonju, Director of Hope Studio, said, "This will be a special opportunity to experience giving in a more enjoyable and meaningful way," adding, "Hope Studio will continue to strengthen its role as a hope platform connecting gamers and social issues."
