As part of efforts to spread a culture of integrity, the West Sea Coast Guard Agency has been continuously implementing programs such as public service discipline training, integrity quiz competitions, integrity clubs, and Mutual Respect Day.
In particular, this campaign was organized as a participatory program where the agency head, department heads, and staff members solved problems together on key topics such as the eight major types of misconduct, the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act, the Public Officials Ethics Act, and 'Geonsojeol' (the Day of Healthy Communication Culture) promoted by the agency itself. The program naturally facilitated learning about laws and systems related to integrity, anti-corruption measures, and communication culture.
Employees who participated in the integrity quiz commented, "Solving integrity education topics, which usually felt rigid, as a quiz was much more enjoyable and memorable," and added, "It felt like we naturally created an atmosphere of open communication by participating together."
