Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency Launches Regional Innovation-Centered University Support System University Council
The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency has officially launched the Gyeonggi Regional Innovation-Centered University Support System (RISE) University Council.
On September 4, the agency announced that it held the "Gyeonggi-do RISE University Collaboration Networking Day" at the Novotel Ambassador Champagne Hall in Suwon and launched the "Gyeonggi-do RISE University Council."
This networking day was organized to share the industry-academia-government cooperation system promoted by Gyeonggi-do, following the completion of the Gyeonggi RISE agreement and the formation of the university council, and to establish a foundation for close communication among participating universities.
RISE is a project in which the Ministry of Education transfers the authority for university financial support to local governments, enabling the cultivation of talent suited to regional characteristics and promoting university innovation.

Gyeonggi-do and the Gyeonggi RISE Center shared strategies for city and county collaboration and working group operations, seeking ways to strengthen the connection and cooperation between the region and universities.
