Police Consider Applying for Arrest Warrant
On September 4, the police arrested a man in his 50s, referred to as Mr. A, on the spot for allegedly assaulting six strangers (charges of bodily injury).
According to the Bundang Police Station in Gyeonggi Province, around noon that day, Mr. A is suspected of using violence, such as punching or pushing, against six pedestrians in succession on a street in Pangyo-dong, Bundang-gu, Seongnam City.
Four people, including two in their 60s, one in their 70s, and one in their 80s, were transported to the hospital, and it was reported that none of their lives are in danger.
It is known that Mr. A has a history of receiving treatment for a mental illness.
