This event, hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, was attended by more than 150 participants from over 80 organizations, including diplomatic missions in Korea, chambers of commerce, foreign media, foreign-invested companies, and financial sector representatives. The event has grown in scale compared to last year, which saw 118 participants from 66 organizations, reflecting the increasing international interest in Korea's free economic zones.
The event began with pre-arranged networking sessions and included presentations on the success stories of foreign-invested companies. Torsten Poeker, President of Sartorius Korea, shared the success story of a global company, setting the tone for the event.
The Authority showcased the strengths of its key strategic industries, such as smart logistics, advanced manufacturing, and bio, as well as customized investment incentives at the venue. It also explored practical cooperation opportunities through individual consultations and networking with global investors.
