Jinan County Holds 'Smart Integrity Golden Bell' for Public Officials
Participatory Quiz Format Engages Over 120 Public Officials
On September 4, Jinan County in North Jeolla Province held the 'Smart Integrity Golden Bell' event for public officials at the county office auditorium.
According to the county, the event was designed as a participatory quiz format to make learning about integrity easy and enjoyable. Over 120 people, including County Governor Jeon Chunseong, senior officials, and staff members, attended the event.
The quiz competition was conducted by solving integrity-related questions through several rounds to determine the final winner. Participants demonstrated a high level of concentration each time a question was presented, showcasing the integrity knowledge they had accumulated throughout their public service careers.
The county expects that the Smart Integrity Golden Bell, introduced for the first time this year, will encourage active participation and interest among staff, thereby enhancing the core value of integrity in public administration and spreading a culture of integrity within the organization.
Participating staff members shared their impressions, saying, "We usually receive integrity education in a lecture format, but experiencing it firsthand through a participatory quiz was much more interesting and memorable."
