Busan Urban Corporation Holds 'Integrity Essay Contest' at Construction Site
Busan Urban Corporation (BMC, led by President Shin Changho) held an 'Integrity Essay Contest' for workers at the Phase 3, Section 2 site of Busan Eco Delta City on August 29.
This contest was organized to raise awareness of integrity at construction sites and to eradicate corruption.
Participants wrote and submitted essays describing their experiences with integrity in their work or daily lives. Over the course of three weeks, a total of 12 entries were received.
After an internal review, the following were selected: ▲ Case of refusing a monetary offer from a safety equipment supplier (Grand Prize) ▲ Case of verifying meal allowance limits and sharing costs during overtime at the construction site ▲ Case of refusing a meal invitation from an employee during a quality inspection at a ready-mix concrete plant (both Excellence Awards).
