Busan Port Authority (BPA), led by President Song Sanggeun, held the 'Busan Port AI Promotion Meeting' with experts from the Korea Maritime Institute (KMI) on September 3 in the main conference room at its headquarters.

View original imageThis meeting was organized to develop concrete strategies for utilizing AI at Busan Port, in line with the government's initiative to become one of the world's top three AI powerhouses.
The event was attended by President Song Sanggeun, the BPA AI Promotion Team launched in August, relevant department heads, and KMI researchers. Participants presented on the possibilities and challenges of introducing AI in the port, shipping logistics, and maritime sectors, and discussed ways to expand AI applications at Busan Port.
