Governor Lee Changyong to Depart on the 4th to Attend BIS Governors’ Meeting
The Bank of Korea announced on the 3rd that Governor Lee Changyong will depart for Basel, Switzerland on the 4th to attend the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) Governors’ Meeting.

View original imageDuring this trip, Governor Lee plans to participate in the Global Economy Meeting, the All Governors’ Meeting, and the Asian Consultative Council, where he will discuss recent developments in the global economy and financial markets with fellow central bank governors.
In addition, as Chair of the Committee on the Global Financial System (CGFS), he will preside over discussions on key global financial issues among major central bank officials. He will also attend the BIS Board of Directors and the Economic Consultative Committee as a BIS director.
