Hwacheon County announced that a joint performance featuring around 250 local youth and their instructors will be held at 6 p.m. on September 13 on the special stage in front of Hwacheon Community Center.

The Autumn Starlight Harmony joint concert will bring together the youth symphony orchestra, the children’s choir, the youth pungmul troupe, students participating in school-linked music education programs, music school attendees, members of Gandong Eoulteo, and participants of the after-school academy-essentially, most local youth who are learning music in the region.

These participants began ensemble rehearsals in early August and will hold their final full-group rehearsal on September 6 at the Hwacheon Youth Center.

The event will begin with a rehearsal at 4 p.m. on the day, followed by a performance by the youth pungmul troupe at 6 p.m.

The joint performance will continue, and the highlight of the concert will be a group rendition of "Spring in Hometown" sung by County Governor Choi Moonsoon, all participating students, and the audience.

Choi Moonsoon, Governor of Hwacheon County, said, "The annual autumn concert by Hwacheon’s youth delivers a message of healing and deeply resonates with the hearts of our residents."
