The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on September 3 that, together with the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency and the Korea SMEs and Startups Distribution Center, it will host the "2025 Korea Global Sourcing Week" event at KINTEX in Ilsan.
Korea Global Sourcing Week is an event designed to connect buyers from around the world, including Korea, with Korean small and medium-sized enterprises, providing opportunities for collaboration and promoting outstanding products from Korean companies to a global audience. This year, the event will be held over two days, on September 4 and 5.
This year, 1,200 small and medium-sized enterprises and 165 buyers, including 110 overseas buyers, are expected to participate both offline and online for business consultations. In addition, approximately 100 companies producing outstanding products in high-demand sectors such as beauty, fashion, food, and lifestyle will showcase their flagship products. An Eco-friendly Zone will be separately operated, featuring only environmentally friendly products, and there will be experiential events where visitors can directly experience and interact with the exhibited products using high-tech solutions.
One-on-one customized consultations will also be provided regarding government support programs for small and medium-sized enterprises, such as export support and domestic marketing support initiatives. Seminars introducing online export strategies, as well as distribution and marketing strategies and success stories utilizing artificial intelligence (AI), are also planned.
