Taebaek City to Hold Ministry of Justice Resident Briefing on New Taebaek Prison Construction Project for 1,500 Inmates
Taebaek City in Gangwon Province (Mayor Lee Sangho) announced on September 3 that it will hold a “Taebaek Prison Construction Project Resident Briefing Session” at 2 p.m. on September 5 in the main conference room on the third floor of City Hall.
This briefing session will be hosted by the Ministry of Justice and is intended to share the current status and future plans of the project with citizens and to enhance residents’ understanding. In particular, officials from the Ministry of Justice and experts in prison design services will attend in person to explain the project details and conduct a Q&A session.
The city expects that this briefing session will help resolve residents’ questions and serve as an opportunity to strengthen communication with the local community.
