Gokseong County Offers Additional Cashback for Mobile Simcheong Gift Certificate Payments
Expectations for Reduced Living Costs and Recovery of Small Business Sales
On September 2, Gokseong County in South Jeolla Province (Governor Cho Sangrae) announced that it will launch an event to grant an additional 5% cashback for payments made with the mobile (chak) Simcheong Gift Certificate from September to December, aiming to expand the distribution of the mobile gift certificate and revitalize the local economy.
This event will be implemented by adding a 5% cashback to the existing 10% discount benefit that applies when purchasing the mobile Simcheong Gift Certificate. For example, if a user charges 100,000 won to use the mobile Simcheong Gift Certificate, they can save a total of 15,000 won by combining the 10% purchase discount and the 5% cashback.
The county plans to ease the financial burden on residents while encouraging local spending to boost the regional economy. The additional cashback event may end early if the allocated budget runs out.
