The nutrition management education will be held over two days, on September 18 and 25, and will include both theoretical instruction and online cooking practice. The sessions will take place at the cafeteria within the county health and medical center, with participation from a professional nutritionist affiliated with the center.
During the cooking practice, participants will learn how to prepare balanced meals that are easy to make alone, such as cabbage okonomiyaki, egg mini kimbap, and mushroom cream pasta.
This initiative, being implemented for the first time this year, was established to help young single-person households develop healthy eating habits and improve their overall health.
Single-person households have a higher rate of skipping breakfast and consume more processed and fast foods compared to multi-person households.
