Woori Bank Launches Activities for 6th Class of University Student Ambassadors "Campus WOORI"
Final 48 Selected for Five-Month Brand Promotion
Outstanding Teams to Receive Opportunity to Visit Overseas Branches
Woori Bank announced that it held the inauguration ceremony for the 6th class of its university student ambassadors, Campus WOORI (hereafter referred to as "CamWOORI"), at its headquarters on September 1.
The 6th class of "CamWOORI" was selected through a two-stage process: an initial document screening and a second in-depth interview, ultimately choosing 48 students from universities across the country. These students will begin their five-month activities as Woori Bank's ambassadors.
The selected ambassadors will carry out a variety of missions, including promoting the Woori Bank brand, proposing ideas for financial products and services, and participating in social contribution (ESG) activities.
They will create and post innovative promotional content on the CamWOORI Instagram account and propose financial product ideas tailored to Millennials & Gen Z through an internal contest. Additionally, they are scheduled to participate in various social contribution activities, such as financial education programs for digitally marginalized groups and year-end coal briquette volunteer work.
Woori Bank will provide a monthly activity allowance and uniforms, and after the program ends, outstanding teams will be given opportunities to visit Woori Bank's overseas branches. Exceptional participants will receive preferential treatment during the document screening stage if they apply for employment at Woori Bank.
