The Daegu Regional Environmental Office (headed by Jinsik Kim) awarded the green company designation certificate and delivered the plaque to the LIG Nex1 Gumi House at the Daegu Regional Environmental Office on September 2.
The Green Company Designation System recognizes eco-friendly workplaces that have significantly reduced emissions of environmental pollutants and contributed to environmental improvement, such as through energy savings. The designation is made in the name of the head of the environmental office and is valid for three years. Companies designated as green companies are eligible for benefits such as exemption from regular environmental inspections and priority support for funding needed for environmental improvements.
