Samcheok City Carbon Neutrality Center Launches Model Case Contest for Carbon Neutral Practices
The Samcheok City Carbon Neutrality Center is launching the "2025 Samcheok City Carbon Neutral Lifestyle Practice Model Apartment Contest" and the "2025 Samcheok City Carbon Neutral Citizen Participation Model Case Contest" to address climate change and promote a sustainable culture of carbon neutrality.

View original imageThe "Carbon Neutral Lifestyle Practice Model Apartment Contest" will be held from September 1 to November 25, targeting apartment complexes with more than 100 households within Samcheok City. Applications will be accepted in two groups based on size: one for complexes with 100 to 299 households, and another for those with 300 or more households.
The "Carbon Neutral Citizen Participation Model Case Contest" will run from September 5 to November 20. Participation is open to Samcheok citizens, as well as organizations and groups based in Samcheok City. Both individuals and groups can submit a variety of exemplary cases of carbon neutrality practices.
Through these contests, the city aims to discover and promote carbon neutrality practices in everyday life involving both citizens and apartment communities, thereby fostering a shared understanding of climate crisis response throughout the local community.
