[Weather] Mostly Cloudy Nationwide... Rain Focused in Southern Regions
On Tuesday, September 2, most regions across the country are expected to be mostly cloudy, with rain likely in southern areas.
Rain is expected in southern Gyeonggi, central and southern inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon until early morning, in the Chungcheong region until the morning, on Jeju Island until the afternoon, and in southern regions until the evening in some areas.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the expected precipitation is 20 to 80 millimeters in the Jeolla region, 20 to 60 millimeters in southern Daejeon, southern Chungnam, and Chungbuk, 10 to 60 millimeters in eastern Gyeonggi and inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, and 5 to 60 millimeters in Daegu, Gyeongbuk, Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam.
Jeju Island is expected to receive 10 to 40 millimeters, while Seoul, western Gyeonggi, Sejong, and northern Chungnam are forecast to receive 5 to 40 millimeters, and Ulleungdo and Dokdo are expected to see 5 to 20 millimeters of rain.
The afternoon high temperatures are forecast to range from 28 to 33 degrees Celsius. By region, the expected highs are 32 degrees in Seoul, 30 degrees in Incheon, 30 degrees in Gangneung, 30 degrees in Daejeon, 31 degrees in Gwangju, 32 degrees in Daegu, and 32 degrees in Busan.
Fine dust concentrations are expected to remain at 'good' to 'moderate' levels nationwide due to smooth atmospheric diffusion.

Waves on the seas are expected to be 0.5 to 1.0 meters high in the near seas of the East Sea, West Sea, and South Sea. In the offshore areas, wave heights are forecast to be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the South Sea.
