View original imageAccording to the official men's golf world rankings announced on September 1 (local time), Park earned 0.2977 points, jumping 278 spots from 741st last week. He earned these points by winning the Dong-A Membership Group Open on the Korea Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Tour, held the previous day at Gangnam 300 Country Club in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province (par 70, 6,863 yards), with a total prize fund of 700 million won. This victory marks his first win of the season and the 13th of his career, coming 1 year and 10 months after his triumph at the 2023 Genesis Championship.
