To ensure expertise and enhance the effectiveness of the safety inspections, the city plans to form joint public-private inspection teams in cooperation with district offices and related agencies, and carry out intensive inspections.
The main inspection items include: ▲ fire prevention equipment and fire compartments, as well as the maintenance status of evacuation facilities and escape routes; ▲ faulty wiring, operation of circuit breakers, and the maintenance of electrical and mechanical rooms; ▲ compliance with legal standards and safety in areas such as electricity, fire safety, and gas, as well as the overall status of safety management.
For simple or minor issues identified during the inspection, immediate corrective action will be taken on site. For issues that cannot be resolved immediately, facility managers will be required to make repairs or improvements before the Chuseok holiday. The city will continue to manage these risk factors until they are fully addressed.
