Genesis BBQ Group has declared its vision to open 50,000 stores worldwide by 2030 in celebration of its 30th anniversary.
Genesis BBQ Group announced on the 1st that it held a 30th anniversary event with franchise owners, partner companies, and employees from across the country.
Through this event, Genesis BBQ reflected on its 30-year journey, which began with the opening of its first BBQ store in Jeongok, Gyeonggi Province, on September 1, 1995. The event also served as an opportunity to announce its vision and future strategy of opening 50,000 stores globally by 2030. Following the announcement of the vision and future strategy, a Hall of Fame induction ceremony was also held. Vice Chairman Seo Inseong, Advisor Sung Ingyeo, and President Kim Dan were newly inducted into the Hall of Fame, and a dedication ceremony was held for them as well.

He expressed his gratitude for their hard work.
Since declaring its digital transformation (DX) in 2018, Genesis BBQ has adopted artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and a global enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to enhance operational efficiency and transparency across its worldwide stores. The company has also restructured its SFA (Sales Force Automation) system and integrated groupware to create an environment that enables global communication and collaboration. With the introduction of ERP, Genesis BBQ Group now manages global business information in real time, maximizing its ability to achieve the goal of opening 50,000 stores worldwide by 2030.
Chairman Yoon stated, "Looking ahead to the next 30, 100, and even 1,000 years, BBQ will grow into a company that is responsible for the health and happiness of humanity," adding, "We will fulfill our founding philosophy of enabling 8 billion people around the world to eat well and live well with the most delicious products."

Meanwhile, Genesis BBQ Group ranked first in online brand interest among domestic chicken brands, according to an analysis by Data & Research. The analysis covered posts related to randomly selected domestic chicken brands across 240,000 sites on 12 channels, including news, communities, blogs, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook, during the first half of this year. BBQ accounted for approximately 150,000 posts, about 32% of the total 460,000 posts. The second-ranked brand recorded around 100,000 posts.
