The Coast Guard Agency announced on September 1 that it will recruit 200 new police officers in the second half of this year.
By category, the agency will hire 3 inspector-level lawyers, 20 lieutenant-level officers through open recruitment (10 for maritime positions and 10 for general positions), and 177 constables. Among the constable positions, there will be 3 graduates from maritime and fisheries high schools, 151 ship crew members, 10 investigators, 10 foreign language specialists, and 3 maritime traffic controllers.
Applications can be submitted online through the National Civil Service Recruitment System of the Ministry of Personnel Management until September 15. For the lawyer positions, applications will be accepted separately from October 20 to November 3.
After the application period, the foreign language translation proficiency test will be held on September 27, followed by the written exam on October 25. Candidates will then undergo a physical fitness test and interviews, and the final successful applicants will be announced on December 26.
Further details can be found on the Coast Guard Agency website and the National Civil Service Recruitment System of the Ministry of Personnel Management.
An official from the Coast Guard Agency emphasized, "Starting from this recruitment cycle in the second half of the year, applications must be submitted through the National Civil Service Recruitment System, not the Integrated Recruitment Portal, so we urge all applicants to check in advance to ensure there are no issues with their applications."
