Dongmyung University and Wacom Korea Award Tablets to Outstanding Students... Fostering Webtoon and Animation Talent
The Department of Webtoon and Animation at Dongmyung University (headed by Professor Jung Kyuha) signed a business agreement last month with Wacom Korea, a global leader in tablet technology, to foster talent and awarded scholarship supplies to outstanding students.
At the award ceremony held on the 27th, students Jang Heeryeong and Lee Yoonji, who achieved excellent results in the summer vacation extracurricular program, received Wacom's premium pen display tablet, the Cintiq 22.
Professor Jung Kyuha, head of the department, stated, "By providing students with cutting-edge equipment they can use immediately in the field, we hope to strengthen their motivation to learn and creative capabilities," adding, "We will continue to collaborate with companies to nurture creative professionals with practical skills."

The Department of Webtoon and Animation at Dongmyung University, which is already equipped with Wacom Cintiq Pro 27 devices in all practice rooms, is further enhancing its excellent infrastructure by building additional advanced labs.
