Hongcheon County in Gangwon Province (Governor Shin Youngjae) is providing water supply vehicles for five days, from the 29th of last month to September 2nd, to support Gangneung City, which is experiencing difficulties securing domestic water due to the prolonged drought.

View original imageA total of 75 tons of domestic water will be supplied using 15 water supply vehicles, with three vehicles dispatched per day. The support cost amounts to approximately 11.4 million won, which has been raised through voluntary fundraising by the Hongcheon County Office (3 million won), the Hongcheon County Branch of the Korea Specialty Contractors Association (4.2 million won, chaired by Lee Seunggeun), and the Hongcheon County General Construction Association (4.2 million won, chaired by Park Gwangeun).
