Industrial facility sites within the complex account for 46,092 square meters, or 64.5% of the total area. Of this, 34,385 square meters are designated for research facilities, 6,242 square meters for manufacturing facilities, and 5,465 square meters for combined manufacturing and research facilities.
Public facility sites total 23,618 square meters, making up 33.1% of the entire complex, while green spaces such as landscape areas and small parks account for 14,332 square meters, or 20.1%.
Companies in the following sectors can move into the complex: manufacturing of electronic components, computers, visual, audio, and telecommunications equipment; other machinery and equipment manufacturing; and research and development. Currently, the research and development center of Lam Research Korea, a global semiconductor equipment company, as well as the headquarters of Search & Delve, a semiconductor equipment and consulting firm, have completed their relocation to the complex.
The city expects the completion of the complex to contribute not only to job creation and increased tax revenue but also to the advancement of the semiconductor industry, which the city is actively fostering as a key industry. In particular, the city has revised the master plan to encourage the use of renewable energy sources such as solar power, in order to enhance the global competitiveness of the complex and realize the RE100 policy.
