Jangheung County to Provide 200,000 Won in Livelihood Recovery Support per Resident
Jangheung County in South Jeolla Province announced on August 28 that it will provide 200,000 won in livelihood recovery support funds per resident starting from September 15.
The recipients are residents who are registered in Jangheung County as of June 18 and on the application date. The payments will be made in the form of Jangheung Sarang Paper Gift Certificates (policy issuance).
The first round of applications and payments will be conducted simultaneously through village visits from September 15 to 19. The second round of applications will be accepted at town and township offices starting from September 22. The head of household may apply on behalf of all household members, but if a household member applies individually, they must bring the head of household's ID card.

The support funds received can be used at all affiliated merchants of the Jangheung Sarang Gift Certificate, and the recommended usage period is until November 30. County Governor Kim Seong stated, "By distributing the funds quickly before Chuseok, we aim to help stabilize residents' livelihoods and revitalize the local economy."
