Volkswagen announced on August 29 that its large SUV, the Atlas, is gaining attention as a vehicle tailored for outdoor activities, thanks to its class-leading body length and spacious interior.

The new Atlas is available in both six-seater and seven-seater models, with the second row equipped with either independent captain seats or a three-person bench seat. Notably, the third-row seat in the Atlas is designed to comfortably accommodate adults even on long journeys. The trunk offers a class-leading capacity of 583 liters as standard, 1,572 liters with the third row folded, and up to 2,735 liters with both the second and third rows folded. Full flat folding is supported without the need for additional leveling, making it convenient for car camping.

Additionally, the standard towing package enables the Atlas to tow over 2.2 tons, making it suitable for hauling large caravans. The vertical load capacity reaches approximately 227 kilograms, allowing for easy towing of motorboats, jet skis, and supporting a wide range of leisure activities.

The new Atlas comes standard with a design package inspired by motorsports, delivering a luxurious yet dynamic style. The interior features premium materials and generous space. Furthermore, the 2024 model was selected as a 'Top Safety Pick' in the crash tests conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) in the United States, demonstrating its outstanding safety. The price of the new Volkswagen Atlas is 67,701,000 won for the seven-seater and 68,486,000 won for the six-seater.

Customers who purchase the new Atlas and sell their existing vehicle through a trade-in can receive up to 2 million won in benefits. In addition, existing Volkswagen owners who purchase the new Atlas are eligible for a repurchase benefit of 1 million won.
