It marks the start of a full-fledged cooperation system for the protection and transmission of traditional culture.
The signing ceremony was attended by Yoon Sunho, Director of Intangible Heritage at the National Heritage Agency, and Maha Abdulla Alsenan, Director of Research and Cultural Heritage at the Saudi Ministry of Culture.
The two sides agreed to strengthen their capabilities in digitizing intangible heritage records and to form a joint working group to promote practical cooperation tasks, such as information exchange and expert training. The National Heritage Agency will also provide advisory support for the new intangible heritage organization that Saudi Arabia is establishing.
