KCTU Executive Booked for Drunk Driving Within Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Premises
An executive of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) was apprehended by police for driving under the influence within the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency premises.
According to police and the KCTU on August 27, the Jongno Police Station booked executive A of the KCTU on suspicion of drunk driving. A is accused of driving approximately 50 meters within the grounds of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency building at around 1 a.m. that day after consuming alcohol.

It was reported that A had parked the car at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency to file a protest notification, then went outside to drink alcohol and returned to drive. At the time of apprehension, A's blood alcohol concentration was at a level warranting license suspension.
