It is held every year on the third Saturday of September. With the recent rise in the number of isolated and reclusive youths, as well as those classified as "taking a break," becoming a growing social issue, Hanam City has prepared the Youth Cheerful Sports Day to help young people regain their energy and interact with one another.
In particular, it is significant that Hanam City's Youth Mate group participated in the planning stages of the event, ensuring that the voices and ideas of young people were incorporated.
Those wishing to participate can apply by searching for "Youth Cheerful Sports Day" in the notices section on the Hanam City website and submitting the application through Naver Form. For those who have difficulty applying online, phone applications are also accepted by the Hanam City Youth Employment Department.
This event is more than just a simple sports competition; it is designed to allow participants to laugh, have fun, and naturally interact with one another. Activities such as recreation, shoe archery, tug-of-war, and ladder relay are planned. In addition, interactive segments like the OX quiz will be available, so young people can enjoy the event with interest.
Participants are expected to reminisce about the sports days of their school years and enjoy a special day filled with cheering and teamwork.
