The Chungnam Office of Education is implementing personalized future education for students using artificial intelligence educational materials that incorporate metaverse, XR, and hologram technologies.
On August 27, the Chungnam Office of Education announced that it has developed and distributed the "2025 Chungnam-Style Artificial Intelligence Education Support Materials (Immersive Content)" to all schools in the province, aiming to respond to changes in future society and strengthen students' digital literacy.
This material is an upgraded version of the "Chungnam-Style Artificial Intelligence Education Support Materials," which were first developed nationwide in 2020. It is a cross-curricular learning resource that reflects the achievement standards of the 2015-2022 revised curriculum.
In particular, immersive content such as extended reality (XR) and holograms provides a virtual learning environment similar to real life, allowing students to experience spaces or phenomena that are difficult to access directly in an immersive way.
As a result, it is being evaluated as enabling participation-centered learning activities that go beyond simple knowledge delivery.
Additionally, by integrating the Chungnam-Style metaverse-based edtech demonstration system, the usability in actual classrooms has been enhanced, and the AI lesson activity recipe (Insure) is also provided to support teachers in managing their classes.
