Democratic Party Sejong City Chapter to Publicly Recruit Citizen Participation Spokesperson Group
Announcement of the Launch of the "Communication Crew"
The Democratic Party of Korea's Sejong City Chapter (Chairman Kang Junhyun) announced on August 26 that it will publicly recruit a "spokesperson group" to further strengthen communication with citizens ahead of next year's local elections.
The application period runs until September 2, and any registered member of the Democratic Party's Sejong City Chapter is eligible to apply. Those selected as spokespersons will serve as new communication partners for the city chapter, delivering messages that resonate with citizens and addressing current issues in the language of everyday politics.
In particular, this initiative is significant as it marks the first time the opportunity has been opened as a platform for citizen participation, rather than being limited to specific politicians or certain groups. It reflects a strong commitment to moving beyond political elitism and ensuring that politics is alive and present in daily life.
