Daejeon Design Promotion Institute to Provide Practical Advertising, Marketing, and Design Training for 52 Youths
Recruitment of Youth Participants in September
Eight-Week Project to Be Operated
A program is being launched to address the deepening job gap among young people in the Daejeon area and to provide field-oriented opportunities to strengthen job skills for youth struggling due to a lack of practical experience.
The Daejeon Design Promotion Institute has been selected as the project-based operating organization for the second half of the year for the "2025 Future Tomorrow Youth Work Experience Support Project," promoted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Through this selection, the institute plans to provide a total of 52 local youths with an eight-week company-linked practical project, aiming to strengthen field-based job skills and enhance their employment competitiveness.
The institute will begin recruiting participants and conducting pre-job training in September, and will operate the eight-week project until November. The program will be divided into a "specialized program" for advertising and marketing roles, and a "general program" for design roles.
The specialized program, in collaboration with the Daejeon Tourism Organization and the Daejeon Tourism Association, will focus on "youth-participatory Daejeon local tourism." Participating youths will carry out practical marketing assignments such as planning tourism content and developing tourism courses to help revitalize local tourism.
The general program in the design field will involve solving practical design tasks proposed by local companies, such as brand and UX/UI projects. Participants will be able to enhance the quality of their projects by utilizing the institute's design R&D equipment, dedicated spaces, and expert pool.
