Busan Middle School Students Hold "English Letter Speech Contest" to Thank UN Veterans

Eight Teams Compete Passionately in the Finals
The Busan Regional Veterans Office (Director Nam-Il Lee) held the "English Letter Speech Contest for UN Veterans" on August 23 at the Nam-gu District Office in Busan, in collaboration with the Nam-gu District Office, Busan Metropolitan City Southern Office of Education, and the United Nations Memorial Cemetery in Korea (UNMCK).
This contest was organized to express gratitude to the UN veterans who sacrificed and contributed to defending South Korea's liberal democracy and peace, and to honor their noble sacrifices.
Middle school students from the Busan area participated in the contest, with eight teams that passed the preliminary round advancing to the finals. On the final stage, they delivered speeches based on their English letters, accompanied by PPT presentations. As a result of the judging, one team received the Grand Prize, three teams received Excellence Awards, and four teams received Encouragement Awards, with each team awarded medals and certificates.
