"Intergenerational Communication" ... Uiryeong County Holds 'Reverse Mentoring Partnership Ceremony'
Reverse Mentoring Partnership Ceremony
Fostering Flexible Organizational Culture Through Intergenerational Communication
Uiryeong County in South Gyeongsang Province recently held the 2025 Reverse Mentoring Partnership Ceremony in the conference room on the fourth floor of the county office, aiming to foster intergenerational communication and create a flexible organizational culture.
The ceremony, held on the 21st, was attended by about 50 mentors and mentees. Reverse mentoring is an innovative communication approach in which the younger generation serves as mentors to their senior counterparts, sharing the latest trends and new perspectives. Through team activities such as selecting mentoring topics related to MZ generation capabilities, participants had a meaningful time sharing their thoughts and values.
The program is expected to help build empathy between generations and contribute to establishing a horizontal organizational culture. Starting with this partnership ceremony, the county plans to hold a Reverse Mentoring Day once a month until December.
