Woahan Cheongnyeondeul: "Pick Up Refreshing Bottled Water at Baemin B Mart Locations Nationwide"
450,000 Bottles of Water Distributed Nationwide to Baemin Riders
Part of Comprehensive Measures for Rider Health and Safety This Summer
Woahan Cheongnyeondeul, the company responsible for Baemin's logistics services, announced on the 25th that it has completed the distribution of 450,000 bottles of water to Baemin B Mart locations nationwide to protect Baemin riders from extreme heat.
This initiative is part of Woahan Cheongnyeondeul's "2025 Comprehensive Countermeasures for Rider Heatwaves." Starting with a pilot program last month, the support has been expanded to Baemin B Mart stores across the country. Riders who visit B Mart can receive bottled water until the end of next month.
Woahan Cheongnyeondeul is implementing a range of effective, seasonal comprehensive measures to safeguard the health and rest rights of Baemin riders during the summer. Notable programs include operating rider rest shelters, providing seasonal support items for riders, and offering educational content on preventing heat-related illnesses. In collaboration with Gachon University Gil Medical Center, the company has also fully subsidized health checkups for riders to prevent cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. These rider support initiatives have drawn attention as a private sector-medical cooperation case, following recommendations from the Rider Safety Management Committee, a governance body of rider safety experts.
