[Weather Tomorrow] Scorching High of 36°C... Showers in Central Regions and Jeju
Scorching Heatwave Persists Despite Chuseo
Daegu Daytime Temperatures Soar to 36 Degrees
On Saturday, August 23, which marks Chuseo, one of the 24 solar terms, Daegu is expected to experience a scorching high of 36 degrees Celsius during the day. Despite the old saying, "After Chuseo, even mosquitoes have crooked mouths," the heatwave is expected to persist with full force.
The morning low temperatures are forecast to range from 22 to 28 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs will reach between 31 and 36 degrees. With heatwave advisories in effect for most regions nationwide, the maximum perceived temperatures will hover around 35 degrees for the time being, resulting in extremely hot conditions.

While most of the country will see mostly cloudy skies, sporadic showers of 5 to 40 millimeters are expected in northern Seoul, Incheon, northern Gyeonggi Province, the central and northern inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon Province, and Jeju Island.
Fine dust concentrations will remain at "good" to "moderate" levels nationwide due to smooth atmospheric dispersion.
