Ottogi Launches Three New Ozukitchen Jjajang Varieties
Featuring Jeongtong Jikhwa Yuni, Ilpum Yetnal, and Garlic Beef Varieties
Ottogi announced on the 22nd that it will launch three new products under its premium Home Meal Replacement (HMR) brand, 'Ozukitchen': a trio of Jjajang (black bean sauce) dishes.
The newly introduced products include Jeongtong Jikhwa Yuni Jjajang, Ilpum Yetnal Jjajang, and Garlic Beef Jjajang. These dishes are characterized by generous portions of ingredients such as pork, beef, and potatoes, as well as a distinctive sauce.
Jeongtong Jikhwa Yuni Jjajang features a rich black bean sauce infused with the aroma of flame-grilled cooking, made with minced domestic pork and onions. Ilpum Yetnal Jjajang delivers a sweet and savory old-fashioned jjajang flavor by stir-frying domestic potatoes, pork, and various vegetables. Garlic Beef Jjajang stands out for its deep flavor, combining the rich taste of garlic with cubes of New Zealand beef.
Yuni Jjajang and Yetnal Jjajang are targeted at homemakers with elementary school-aged children who prefer a mild and light taste, while Garlic Beef Jjajang is aimed at single households in their 20s and 30s who enjoy new flavors. All products can be conveniently prepared in just one minute in the microwave and can also be used in a variety of dishes such as tteokbokki and jjajangmyeon.
