Gijang County, Busan to Recruit 84 Enumerators for the Population and Housing Census
Main Survey Begins on October 22
"Active Cooperation from County Residents Requested"
Gijang County (Governor Jung Jongbok) will recruit 84 enumerators for the "2025 Population and Housing Census" until September 17.
The recruitment includes 75 enumerators (including 7 reserve enumerators) and 9 positions such as field supervisors. Enumerators will visit sample households in person to conduct the survey, while field supervisors will be responsible for on-site safety management and work support.
Applicants must be adults aged 18 or older residing in Korea, and anyone with sincerity and a sense of responsibility is eligible to apply. Applications can be submitted through the Population and Housing Census website or at the Statistics Office on the 8th floor of Gijang County Office. Governor Jung Jongbok emphasized, "The Population and Housing Census is an important survey that serves as fundamental data for national and regional policy-making," and requested, "We ask for the active participation and cooperation of all county residents."

The "2025 Population and Housing Census" will be conducted nationwide from October 22 to November 18. Sample households can participate first via internet or telephone survey, and from November 1, enumerators will visit households in person to conduct the survey. However, households that have already responded through non-face-to-face methods will be excluded from in-person visits.
