View original imageOn August 21, Chairman Wonhui Jo of the Daejeon City Council presented certificates of commendation to 15 members of the "Namaste" volunteer group at Guamsa Temple.
The "Namaste" group at Guamsa Temple has consistently engaged in on-site volunteer work throughout the local community, including serving noodles to visitors and families of patriots at the National Daejeon Cemetery, as well as providing meals for military personnel and seniors, delivering warmth and comfort to the region.
While presenting the certificates, Chairman Wonhui Jo remarked, "I have often heard that a warm bowl of noodles from Namaste has brought great comfort to those visiting the cemetery," adding, "This goes beyond simple volunteer work; it is a true expression of honoring and remembering those who have devoted themselves to the country."
