On August 21, the Masanhappo District of Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, held a communication meeting with the executives of the Masanhappo District branch of the Federation of Village Chiefs to discuss regional development and address residents' inconveniences.
Approximately 10 people attended the meeting, including Seo Hogwan, head of Masanhappo District Office, and Kim Jaegon, branch president, along with other executives. They discussed ways to cooperate for district development and addressed suggestions closely related to residents' daily lives.
The Masanhappo District Federation of Village Chiefs consists of 436 village chiefs from 15 towns and neighborhoods, serving as a bridge between the local community and administration by promoting municipal policies, supporting residents' long-standing projects, and providing guidance to residents during disasters and emergencies.
Seo Hogwan, head of Masanhappo District Office, stated, "Village chiefs play a vital role in connecting residents and the administration," and added, "We will continue to actively reflect voices from the field in district operations to realize administration that residents can truly feel."
