Gyeonggi Province Officially Launches Emergency Medical Support Advisory Committee with First Meeting on the 21st
Gyeonggi Province has launched the "Gyeonggi Province Emergency Medical Support Advisory Committee," a think tank dedicated to developing and supporting emergency medical policies.
On August 21, Gyeonggi Province held the first meeting of the Gyeonggi Province Emergency Medical Support Advisory Committee at the Gyeonggi Provincial Government Office to discuss major emergency medical issues within the province.
The advisory committee is composed of medical staff from regional and local emergency medical centers in the province, as well as experts from academia and the emergency medical field.
At the meeting, key regional issues were discussed, including improvements to the transfer guidelines for severe emergency patients, reorganization of emergency medical regions, and setting operational directions for local emergency medical centers.
Based on the recommendations presented at the advisory committee meeting, Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Province Emergency Medical Support Group plan to reorganize the transfer system to ensure that severe emergency patients receive timely and appropriate treatment, and to restructure the emergency medical network to address disparities in medical services across different regions.
