Dong-A Chamed's ENT Unit Chairs 'DCC-5' and 'DCC-3' Obtain Medical Device Certification
Donga ST's subsidiary, Dong-A Chamed, announced on the 21st that its latest high-end ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) dedicated unit chairs, 'DCC-5' and 'DCC-3', have obtained medical device certification from the Korea Medical Device Safety Information Institute.
Dong-A Chamed previously acquired medical device certification and launched its high-end ENT examination tables, 'DCU-8000' and 'DCU-4000', in August last year. With the recent certification of the ENT unit chairs 'DCC-5' and 'DCC-3', the company has now established a full lineup of ENT examination tables and chairs.
Dong-A Chamed has built a comprehensive ENT total solution lineup that covers both examination tables and chairs, providing integrated products and services to medical institutions and enhancing convenience in installation and operation. Based on this, Dong-A Chamed plans to further strengthen its competitiveness in the ENT field.
The ENT-dedicated unit chairs 'DCC-5' and 'DCC-3' feature an ergonomically designed body support, improving comfort for patients and usability for medical staff.
The addition of a left-right rotating seat function enhances examination efficiency. A lock button has been installed to prevent unintentional operation, thereby improving safety. Furthermore, the chairs have been designed with stabilized PCBs (printed circuit boards) and easy repairability in mind to facilitate more convenient maintenance.
A Dong-A Chamed representative stated, "The newly certified ENT unit chairs DCC-5 and DCC-3 are innovative in every aspect, including user convenience and hygiene.
