Supports a Total of 17 Languages
Samsung Electronics announced on the 21st that it has expanded its AI-based 'Home Appliance Remote Diagnosis (HRM)' service to over 120 countries. This service, which was first introduced in Korea in 2020, uses AI to analyze the status of products connected to the SmartThings smart home platform, enabling customer service representatives to provide engineer-level diagnostics and consultations.

This year, it has expanded support to 17 languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, and Arabic, making the service available in over 120 countries.
By using the Home Appliance Remote Diagnosis service, users can receive professional diagnostics without having to describe the issue with their product. Problems can be resolved without an on-site visit, saving both time and costs. Products equipped with screens, such as the Family Hub refrigerator with a 32-inch screen, refrigerators and washing machines with AI home touchscreens, can also receive remote diagnostics through screen sharing.
