An accident occurred at a Coupang logistics center in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, where a worker in his 50s lost his life.
According to the police on the 21st, at around 9:11 p.m. the previous day, a worker in his 50s, identified as Mr. A, collapsed for unknown reasons while sorting items in the cold storage warehouse at the Coupang logistics center located in Soeup, Namsa-eup, Yongin.
Mr. A was transported to a nearby hospital but died approximately two hours later.
The area where Mr. A was working handled fresh food products, and it has been determined that the accident did not occur due to the work environment itself.
The police plan to investigate the exact cause of death, including whether Mr. A had any underlying health conditions.
