Representative teams of recreational table tennis enthusiasts from 19 cities and counties in the province will participate, competing for regional honor in both individual and team events. The competition will begin with a group league format for the preliminaries, followed by a tournament-style knockout round in the finals to determine the overall winning team and player.
In particular, this tournament is especially meaningful as it is one of the major recreational sports events held in Yeongdeok County, which suffered significant damage from the Gyeongbuk wildfires.
